What is the average soccer field size?
Soccer field dimensions vary depending on the level of play and governing body. The optimum soccer field size is 75 yards wide by 120 yards long. But soccer fields can be 65-80 yards wide and 110-120 yards long. Some smaller fields are not allowed for international matches.

How big is the Center Circle on a soccer field?
Soccer fields are divided lengthwise by the midfield line. There is a center circle In the center of the field, which the midfield line dissects. Defenders must stay out of this 10–yard circle at the start of play.
How big is the penalty area on a soccer field?
The penalty area sometimes called the penalty box, is a rectangular area measuring 44 years wide by 18 yards deep and is centered on each goal.
Where is the Penalty Mark?
The penalty mark, centered on the goal, is 12 yards from the end line. It is the location where the ball is placed for penalty kicks. It’s inside the penalty area.
What is the function of the Penalty Arc?
The penalty arc is the line that players can’t pass when a penalty kick is taking place. The arc is 10 meters from the penalty mark. Players beyond the kicker and the opposing goalkeeper must stay 10 meters away on penalty kicks.
Where is the goal area on a soccer field?
The goal area is within the penalty area and is centered on the goal. The rectangular area is 5.5 meters extending out from each goalpost and extending out 5.5 meters. Those two lines are joined by a line drawn parallel to the goal line. This area is the goal area.
